Dr. Dubravka Vejnovic, from Belgrade, Serbia, is a technical diver, mother, and forensic scientist with a Ph.D. in applied genetics. Her diving specialty is CCR Trimix diving, and she has a passion for exploring wrecks and caves. Dr. Vejnovic began diving 15 years ago and showed an interest in technical diving from the very start.
She is the only female member of the Triton Technical Diving Team, which is based in Belgrade, Serbia, and led by Instructor Trainer Mr. Mirko Bevenja. This is the largest CCR technical diving team in the Balkans region—and possibly beyond—comprising 15 CCR Trimix divers. The team dives year-round, regardless of weather conditions, and regularly practices in a local lake when not traveling for dives.
Dr. Vejnovic dives with the Poseidon Se7en CCR unit and is recognized as a Poseidon South Eastern Europe Ambassador. She was also a Divers Alert Network Europe intern several years ago and recently became their ambassador. In January 2024, she was named a Technical Diving International Ambassador for one of the world’s leading technical diving training agencies.
