Album “SANTI Find the Eagle 2014-2020”

The album SANTI Find the Eagle is a summary of nine expeditions of SANTI Find the Eagle, which took place over the last 6 years (2014-2020). The various stages of the search for the lost submarine ORP Orzeł are presented in an interesting way, enriched with beautiful photographs including the date, route of the expedition and specific days, the naval unit that participated in the search, historical facts to help find the shipwreck as well as the members of the search team, partners and sponsors of the expedition.

SANTI FIND THE EAGLE is a long-range project which aims to discover the place where the wreck of the most famous Polish submarine, ORP Orzel with her sixty-three crew members rests, and to solve the mystery of why she sank. The project also aims to revive the memory of the brave ship crew’s heroic deeds, and to emphasize the role of the Polish Navy during World War II. It is also of great importance to cultivate the memory of ordinary seamen- members of the ship’s crew who in the service of their Homeland, performed unprecedented acts of heroism in the history of maritime wars.
