TERMS AND CONDITIONS Tell Your Santi Story
§ 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
- The contest is organized under the name “Tell Your Santi Story”, hereinafter referred to as the “Contest.”
- The organizer of the Contest is SANTI sp. z o. o., with its registered office in Gdynia, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs maintained by the District Court Gdansk-Połnoc in Gdansk, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS No. 0000157984, hereinafter referred to as “Santi.”
- The rules of the Contest are set out in these Terms and Conditions, which enter into force on the date the Contest begins and remain in force until its conclusion, hereinafter referred to as the “Terms and Conditions.”
§ 2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST
- The Contest is organized to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Santi drysuit production.
- The purpose of the Contest is to select the most exceptional story of a SANTI drysuit user, showcase the passion, experiences and emotions associated with diving, and highlight the role that a SANTI drysuit has played in the participant’s diving journey. The Contest will be conducted according to the following schedule:
- 7 October 2026 to 25 October 2026, until 23:59 Polish time (CET) – participants submit their Contest entries by publishing a post on Facebook or Instagram, tagging @santidiving and using the hashtag #santistory;
- 26 October 2026 to 28 October 2026 – Santi will review the submitted entries and select 5 finalist stories, which will be published on the SANTI DIVING Facebook and Instagram pages and will take part in the public vote;
- 30 October 2026 to 6 November 2026, until 12:00 noon Polish time (CET) – online voting on the finalist stories selected by Santi will take place on the SANTI DIVING Facebook and Instagram pages;
- 9 November 2026 – the voting results will be announced on the SANTI DIVING Facebook and Instagram pages.
- The participant must be the owner of a Santi Group drysuit.
- Each participant may submit only one entry.
- The participant must hold all rights to the submitted photograph, which means that it may not be another person’s work used without the consent of the person entitled to such work. The participant must have valid consent from any persons depicted in the photograph for the use of their image to the extent specified in these Terms and Conditions (in the case of a person under 18 years of age, the consent of their legal guardian is required). The photograph may not contain any content that is contrary to applicable law, principles of social coexistence or generally accepted standards of decency.
- Submission of an entry to the Contest constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Participation in the Contest is conditional upon jointly meeting all of the following requirements:
- publishing a post containing a photograph on the participant’s own Facebook or Instagram profile, tagging @santidiving, adding the hashtag #santistory, and including a description of the participant’s story in English;
- completing the Contest entry form: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/2aJ44303xL?origin=lprLink
- a person who does not have full legal capacity (i.e. is under 18 years of age) may participate only with the written consent of their statutory representative (legal guardian).
- A person may not participate in the Contest if they are an employee of Santi, a family member of a Santi employee, or are personally or financially affiliated with Santi.
§ 3. WINNERS AND PRIZES
- The Contest will be supervised by a Contest Committee (the “Jury”) appointed by Santi. The Jury will select the stories that qualify for the final round, announce the results of the online vote, and resolve any doubts concerning the Contest rules, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, or their interpretation. The Jury’s decisions are final and may not be appealed.
- The winner of the Contest, as selected by online voters, will receive the following prize: SANTI E.Lite diving drysuit – special 20th anniversary edition.
- The participant acknowledges that the Prize may be subject to personal income tax in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
- Santi will cover the cost of shipping the Prize; however, Santi shall not be liable for the delivery time of the Prize by the courier company.
- The Prize may not be exchanged for cash or any other prize in kind.
§ 4. FINAL PROVISIONS
- Upon submitting an entry:
- the Contest participant grants Santi a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the submitted photograph, reel or video and the accompanying story for the purpose of conducting the Contest as well as for Santi’s own promotional and marketing purposes, including their distribution, without any limitation as to time or territory, and the publication of the photograph, reel or video, including modified versions thereof, on the Internet and social media, without identifying the author;
- the participant accepts these Terms and Conditions, which are available at Santi’s registered office and on the Santi website at https://santidiving.com/news/
- the participant acknowledges the information concerning the rules governing the processing of personal data by Santi, contained in the appendix to these Terms and Conditions (GDPR information notice https://santidiving.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/RODO_eng.pdf).
- Santi accepts no responsibility for the content of submitted entries and reserves the right to immediately disqualify any post, reel or video in the event of a suspected or identified violation of these Terms and Conditions.
- The participant assumes responsibility for any failure of their entry to comply with applicable law or these Terms and Conditions.
- Santi is entitled to amend the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, provided that such amendments do not result in less favorable conditions of participation in the Contest. Amendments may concern, in particular, Contest-related activities and changes to the specifications of the Prize. The amended Terms and Conditions will take effect upon their publication on the Santi website at https://santidiving.com/news/.
- Any matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable provisions of Polish law.
